Pics from Sophmore Year and Summer

Well my room this year is in Barringer, first floor, which isn't too bad. Its pretty big 19x12 or something. I put up some posters above my desk, which is, of course, the resting place of my my beastly computer and other various and sundry shit. My closet is once again the single messiest thing EVER.

ESPN Sports Day or some nonsense like that came to the drillfield one day, so I went out and checked it out. Here is a pic of me climbing the Army climbing tower, and I also climbed this giant Nokia thing.

The weekend before Thanksgiving, Boggs, Jason and I went down to UVA to see Sean. We hit some parties Friday night at DTD and DU. Then Saturday hit Waffle House and walked around "grounds" (damn Wahoos) and got a pic on the steps of some building on the lawn.

Over Thanksgiving Break, Boggs, Jason and I went up to see the ladies at Marymount. We got up to some nonsense in their kitchen while they weren't around, including "bottle stands", bottle fights, and draining the water cooler. We tried on these sultan costumes in some arts and crafts room and almost stole some shit from the security locker room in the basement.

My youngest brother, Bryan got confirmed this fall. This is my family at his confirmation, and here is a picture of us with Bishop Paul LeVerde.

Over winter break, my family went to NYC. We stayed at the Navy Lodge on Staten Island and took the ferry into the city every day. Here are the shots I took from the Empire State Building. The New York Stock Exchange was pretty tight. We went to Liberty Island, saw the Statue of Liberty and took some family shots overlooking Brooklyn and Ellis Island.

The only car I've ever quasi had of my own, what I affectionately refer to as The Blue Van of Death, is soon to be donated to Purple Heart or some other charity organization. Despite its 125K+ miles, lack of any non-radio audio, lousy gas mileage, and tendency to NOT shift into gear, I LOVED that car. Here is me with Ryan, my roommate, and his Prelude in the Walmart parking lot.

DC's pro lacrosse team, the Power, play at USAir Arena. I try and go see them whenever possible. Over winter break I caught a game w/ Boggs and Sean. Their mascot is Max Power. Sean and Ichillin in our $25 seats that we paid $5 for (sneaking into lower levels is EASY). After the game we mingled w/ the Power in the Captains Club, and got pictures with Paul and Gary Gait.

Here are 2 shots from when Boggs and Sean went Alpine Adventuring on Old Rag. I would have gone on the trip, but was unfortunately detained.

One of my toys is a Sega Dreamcast I recently bought secondhand. Here are Ryan and I squaring off in Soul Calibur, and he even managed to win a round or 2. Here Boggs and Ryan go head to head (look at the DETERMINATION!).

Here is a shot of me out behind Barringer the hall I'm living in this year.

Theres a stocked trout pond down 460 that we went fishing at a couple times. Its pretty easy, even I managed to catch and subsequently enjoy some very fine trout.

One day over the summer I took a day off work and went to Six Flags with Dana and Kristin and Kristin's brother Stephen. It rained the whole day, which you would think have sucked, but it didn't, because no one was there and we rode all the rides we wanted to (I swear we rode the mind eraser like 69 times in a row). Anyhow, we were pretty bedraggled by the end of the day, but it was really fun, so its all good.

This is a shot of the crew at Silver Diner enjoying some milkshakes after 80's Night, which consisted of the girls going to the Salvation Army and buying 80s clothes, me and Boggs wearing whatever, and then going roller skating.
